At Azeno, protecting your personal data and upholding your digital privacy is our foremost priority. We process all personal information in strict adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable Romanian legislation (Law no. 190/2018 and Law no. 506/2004).

The azeno.ro platform and its digital services are operated by Azeno Tech Solutions ("Azeno", "we", "us", "controller"), a Romanian legal entity established in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, contact: contact@azeno.ro.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

We only collect data strictly necessary to fulfill our service commitments:

  • Identification & Contact Data: Full name, email address, phone number, and organization name submitted via contact forms, project estimation requests, or account registration.
  • Appointment & Consultation Data: Name, email, selected time slots, timezone, and project briefing notes for 1-on-1 discovery calls.
  • Account & Learning Data (Academy): Secure hashed credentials, course enrollments, module progression, quiz evaluations, and verified completion badges.
  • Technical & Telemetry Data: IP address, device fingerprints, browser version, operating system, pages viewed, duration, and language preference (RO, EN, HU).
  • Marketing & Preferences: Newsletter opt-in status, subscription date, and engagement metrics (opens and clicks).
  • Community Interactions: Display names, email addresses, and comments submitted on articles or podcast episodes.

4. Data Processors & International Transfers

We never monetize, rent, or sell your personal information. We only share data with vetted sub-processors bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs):

  • Cloud Infrastructure: High-security servers hosted within the European Union (EEA).
  • Payment Gateways: Stripe Inc. (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). Cardholder data is handled directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
  • Media CDN: Cloudinary for optimized asset delivery.
  • Transactional Email Providers: Dedicated SMTP providers compliant with EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
